Introduction

Swanston Multiplex Cinemas Pvt Limited (JV) was incorporated on October 11, 2001 by FAME INDIA LTD (formerly Shringar Cinemas Limited) and the Vassanji Mamania Group.

SMCPL is a 50:50 joint venture between Fame India Ltd (formerly Shringar Cinemas Pvt Ltd) and Adlabs Films Ltd. The company manages operations of the multiplex ‘Fame Adlabs’ located at Versova Andheri.

This multiplex is part of CitiMall Andheri. It commenced operation on April 5, 2002. Fame Adlabs is one of the first multiplexes to start in Mumbai.
